We are BELOVED to our Heavenly Father and Mother. We are loved deeply and completely.

The Proclamation Has Been Scripture to Me
The proclamation has been scripture to me, and memorizing it has been one of the greatest helps that a mother could have in today’s world. Family has brought the most happiness into my life, and that’s the way God meant it to be!
The Bravest Mother I Know
When the Lord defined the family through this sacred document, He taught us that the family is the center of all things. The family is love. He taught us that “Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon [His teachings].”
Defend Traditional Marriage
Man and woman are made to complement and complete one another. God has made it so! Marriage between a man and a woman was created as the ideal for children to come into this world.

Introducing Grandbaby #3!
Sara and Brigham had a little boy two weeks ago on Friday, June 12. Arza Ben Kriser weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and measured 20 inches long. The name, Arza, is a family name. Our Ira is named for Joseph’s 2nd great grandfather, Ira Nathaniel Hinckley. That Ira had an older brother named Arza. Arza […]
Virtual Ventura Family Reunion
Our Ventura Family Reunion was cancelled because of Covid-19. Instead of being at a cool cabin in Utah during spring break we all stayed at home in Nevada, Utah, Indiana, Kansas, Idaho, Virginia, and Florida and did it virtually. It was still fun! Every day we did something different. Monday we shared memories – of […]
When you find out your country lifestyle is actually called “quarantine” or “shelter-in-place”
It’s crazy how fast the world can change. One day you are planning a musical number with the youth of your ward and the next day the church issues a statement saying all meetings worldwide are cancelled. Then our state closed all public schools and non-essential businesses. And for us, nothing in our life really […]
Old Photos Get a New Look
Do you have copies of old black and white photos of your ancestors? Ever wondered what they would look like in color?
Study the Restoration
It’s been silent around here. But I’ve still been extremely busy on my other blog! Here’s what I’ve been doing. President Russell M. Nelson invited us last General Conference and again at the beginning of this year to prepare for the April 2020 General Conference by studying more about the Restoration. He said, “The year 2020 will be designated […]
Write a Children’s Book about Your Ancestor
Now that Christmas is over I can share the gifts I created for my parents! I wrote and illustrated children’s books about my grandmothers. I saw this idea earlier in the year and knew it would be the perfect gift for my mother who loves children’s books. It is also a wonderful way to share […]
Merry Christmas 2019
“Without Christ, there would be no Christmas. Without Christ, there can be no fulness of joy. Without His birth and His Atonement, we would have no Intercessor, no Advocate with the Father, and no Mediator who makes it possible for us to return to the presence of our loving Heavenly Father and live together as […]
