AWESOME!! my daughter has done this two summers in a row and plans on “doing it forever”. her hair grows fast and she LOVES knowing her hair is going to someone who needs it.
i love knowing there are other girls around her age also giving.
It is so wonderful when children give so unselfishly to others. Both of my girls have been doing Locks of Love for years and the idea was all thier own. What a beautiful gesture.
That is awesome! Having been the spouse of a cancer survivor AND a beautician! I completely applaud you! My email is one2manydiapers@hotmail.com….if you send me your address, I will send you the BEST chocolate cookies you’ll ever eat! I think of you every time I make them!
Oh bless her heart. that is so sweet, and she looks really cute with that haircut-and I’m a long-hair kind of girl. She really looks cute! Tell her that!
Love it! I’ve done it twice and am planning on doing it again–it’s such a simple but meaningful way to give. Way to go Bon Bon–hope you love your super cute new hair-do!!
That’s a beautiful gesture, to donate her hair to Locks of Love. The new style looks great, too! Happy WW!
Way to go BonBon! What a loving thing to do. Your new style looks great on you! Happy WW!
How neat! I did that once and it really felt good to help out in that way. It kind of eases the shock of the totally new do. It looks great!

I did that about 10 years ago, so I know what its like! A huge weight lifted. 🙂
What a beautiful thing to do! My oldest has grown her hair and cut it several times to donate it!
Even the smallest gestures can be a PRICELESS sacrifice to help make life easier for another!

So, does she keep looking in the mirror and swiching and touching her hair? It always takes me a week or two to get used to a chop-off.
I love that there is a good reason out there for cutting our hair.
AWESOME!! It is such a change, but goes to such a wonderful thing! I recently did this as well! Such a good feeling!
Very cute! How thoughtful of her to donate her hair.
When I chopped off my long hair, it was weird washing it.
