Thanks for all your input on how the blog is looking. I think I might have figured out where I went wrong but now I need you to tell me again if it looks any better or if it still looks the same.
I also restarted the poll so please answer again what the blog looks like on your screen.
I didn’t know so many of you have large or wide screens! It looks fine for most of us that have smaller monitors but those that have big ones with big resolutions are having trouble viewing the posts with the new background. I’m hoping I’ve figured it out but it’s hard to know without your input.
I’m learning about this stuff right along with you and just trying to pass along what I’ve learned to others. Obviously I still have a way to go!

It looks perfect on my desktop, but on my wider screen laptop there is about 1/2 inch to an inch of words on both the left and right that overlap on the brown so it is near impossible to read what is on that background.
Other than that, I love the new color scheme!

We have a very wide screen. If our browser window is too wide, the words go off to the side into the dark brown. I usually have to just adjust my window slightly smaller and I can see it just fine. (BTW I use firefox, it that matters)
I like the brown polka dots, and the red scallop on your header. Very cute.

I’m using a wide screen laptop like ‘an ordinary mom’ and it’s the same, about 1/2 inch into the ribbon. It’s hard to read but not impossible. It looks great! It just makes it a little bit harder to read the full post. I wouldn’t bother changing it for all of us weirdos using large screens 🙂

It looks better on my home monitor, I will get my husband to try it on his huuuuge screen though!
Rebecca says
Okay it looks worse on my husband’s hude screen – the date is across the brown.

We have a large computer screen so the brown background ribbon went right through the middle of the post. BUT after making the window smaller it looks FANTASTIC!! =) Guess I need to keep it smaller. I love all the polka dots and the red banner.

I didn’t think that I had a big screen. I have a mac, and my computer is a few years old, I just measured the screen and it is 14 inches wide. Anyway, the writing is on the brown, but I don’t think it is a problem to adjust the screen. Hope this helps.

Types still sitting in the border, but not as much as earlier.

I have a larger screen and I didn’t know I was supposed to have problems. 🙂 I can read it fine.
It looks great!

Hi! Just letting you know that I can’t see the left side of the words in your blog. I’m using a laptop but it’s not widescreen. Oh, and I use Internet Explorer. I just highlighted everything to be able to read the words in dark brown.
Mrs. Organic says
For me it looks nearly the same in either screen (wide or minimized)
The text butts right up against the border, but it’s still readable. It looks great!

I’m late on this, I know, but I’m still going to comment. We have a widescreen monitor too and for a couple of days there, I couldn’t view your posts very well because I was seeing them on the dark background offline from the cream background. But you seem to have fixed that problem now, so it looks fine again to me. Sometimes I prefer viewing on a minimized screen so I can see it how you probably do, on a smaller monitor. But this configuration I can comfortably view on my widescreen too. 🙂

By the way, yes, these new colors look really, really good! I love it!

I love the new look! I too couldn’t read the posts very well for a few days on my widescreen. Now it’s good.
