Want a great feel good movie to go see this weekend? Try Forever Strong. Based on a true story about the Highland Rugby team and their coach Larry Gelwix. Through the sport of rugby Coach Gelwix teaches the values of family, respect and honor. The plot of the movie is about one player in particular, Rick Penning, who finds himself in trouble in his home state of Arizona, is sent to a juvenile detention center in Utah and offered an early release if he will play for the Highland Rugby team, which just happens to be the main rival of Rick’s old team coached by his father. I guess I’ll have to be content watching some other sports flick like Hoosiers or my personal favorite, Victory, go Pele!

I love Sean Austin, did you ever see him in Memphis Belle. I’ll have to wait until it is on netflix, we live way too far from a theater too.
