It seems these three are always together lately – making messes, reading books, playing outside. The two girls dote on their little brother (don’t we all) watching over him one minute, giving him reasons to kick or pinch them the next. Today they were content to play, happily sliding down the slide, rolling down the hill, and riding their scooters or in Bubba’s case his tractor. This brief moment of sibling affection tugs at my heart. Despite the constant battle over toys or attention they really do love each other. I hope their friendship will last their whole lives.

Elder Russell M. Nelson spoke at our regional conference a few years ago and was telling us about his son…who is the youngest of like…8 sisters, or something like that. Anyway, he started chuckling and said, “Poor boy. He never knew who his mother was!”
I always think of that when I see your darling little one. 🙂
