Okay, ladies, print this lesson off and give it to your husbands. They are in charge of this lesson! I’m posting it this week so they have a full week to prepare to give this family home evening lesson on the Monday before Mother’s Day. It’s a fun lesson that teaches the family to show love and appreciation for Mother every day not just on Mother’s Day. This lesson was put together by Angie N. from my FHE swap group.
For some reason the lessons are printing really big, cutting some of the images off. The best way to avoid this is to download the pdf file to your computer and then print it. You must have a Scribd account to download the file but it is free. To download click on More (next to Scribd in the upper left corner) and select Save Document.

It’s a very sweet FHE overall, but I’m a disturbed by the premise of the story. If dad is home looking for a job (albeit freelancing) while mom is working all day, why isn’t dad cooking dinner and doing the laundry? Shouldn’t dad be honoring mom by doing household chores — why isn’t he helping and why does the kid think it’s only mom’s role to cook and do laundry?

Thank for this FHE. I was looking for some questions to ask our primary kids about mother’s. This is great!
