Back in April the calves needed to be branded, ear marked, and vaccinated. I wasn’t able to take many pictures because Special Dark is deathly afraid of cows. Every time they bellar he jumps. He was shaking the whole time we were there. Poor little guy! I did get some roping action but I like this one of SH gathering his rope back up after roping a calf.

First time on your blog, and it took me a second to figure out who Special Dark was. I knew it wasn’t the horse (even though in the picture he is dark … special dark maybe?) because there is no way a cutting horse is afraid of cows. At least they better not be!
I figured it out, cute names for everyone. Guess I’m a bit slow, that’s all.
