Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone for a fantastic first week to our Family Proclamation festivities! Haven’t the guest bloggers been fabulous? (is that enough words that start with ‘f’?) And all your comments have been heartwarming to read.
So without further ado, here are the winners for this week’s party favors.
Marie from Marie’s Make and Mend wins the Family letters generously donated by A Touch of Sunshine.
Dana, from “Special” Journeys wins a set of five Bible Flannel Board Stories from Rising Moon Adventures. Each of the stories is hand drawn, scanned into the computer, colored, printed onto transfer paper and ironed onto felt. The pictures are very colorful and captivating. They are extremely durable and can even be hand washed.
Lucky Deirdre, who wrote our first Celebrate Family post, (and whose name was actually randomly drawn twice!) won a $25 Gift Certificate to My Good Greetings. I order through them for our family Christmas cards. They are fabulous! My Good Greetings also does baby announcements, address labels, wedding invitations and pretty much anything that has to do with stationery.
And finally, Sonja, who blogs at Wonder Years, has won the Families are Forever plaque from Huckleberry Lady. Cut out of metal and attached to a wood plaque that has been routered, painted & edges sanded. A wonderful addition to any home decor.
Congratulations! Winners send me an e-mail at chocolateonmycranium {at} live {dot} com so I can send your info along to the sponsors.
Don’t forget that tomorrow is our first blog hop. What is a blog hop? In basic terms it’s where everyone writes about the same topic and links up on one central page (two in this case here and at Jocelyn’s blog) so others can come and visit your post. Tomorrow’s topic is a photo essay with captions taken from The Family: A Proclamation to the World.
All those who participate in the blog hop this week (yes you have until Friday to link up) will be eligible to win this fantastic custom family tree from The Staker Store.
Isn’t it beautiful? Each customized family tree is created using the names of your ancestors on the branches and featuring the country or state of birth of each person on the leaves. The trunk is made up of the names of the main couple, and the branches extend to four or five generations back. You will need to provide the genealogy information.

Great job Cocoa! Love the pairings of photos and captions. I am oh so very amazed at how some of the fundamental teachings of family are the same for your faith as they are for mine!
