Years ago (at least 8) I was teaching the creation to the Primary children and came up with these two activities.
The first is a basic wheel that spins to show what was created on each day.
Just cut out each wheel, have your child color the pictures as you discuss the order of the creation, cut out the little windows on the top wheel, then put the wheel together with a brad so the top can turn to show each day’s creations.
The next activity is perfect for older children (8 and up) who want something a little more complex.
Cut out two circles of the exact same size (we traced a bowl for the circle).
Fold each circle in half one way, then the other, dividing it into four equal pie sections.
On one circle cut out one quarter of the circle, on the other just cut up on one fold line to the center. {see picture}
Lay the circle with the cut out section on top of the other circle so that one edge of the cut out section lines up with the cut edge of the bottom circle. {see picture above}
Tape these edges together. {see picture above}
Start folding up your book in a clockwise manner {see pictures above} until it is the size of one quarter of a circle. Use sticky back velcro on the edge to keep the book closed.
On the cover, have your child decorate and draw “The Creation.”
Open that page and on the other side draw what was created the first day, labeling it with “Day 1.”
Flip the book to reveal the next page and decorate for “Day 2.”
Flip again to decorate for “Day 3.” Keep doing this until you have done every day of the creation.
When completely open the book is now in a circle – like our planet Earth.
This activity goes along with day two of The Living Christ: An Easter Countdown.

I wanted to say congrats on your coming boy! I don’t know what a little one will be too wiggly to see anything.
i think a part of me is envious of you and 9 children. i am from a family of nine kids and so is my hubby. But I didn’t meet him until i was 25 and we married 6 month later and by then I was 26. This is my 5th baby and I hope I can do at least one more… but I don’t think my age will let me go on after that. I wish you the best and a quick recovery after delivery.

The circle book is a great idea for older children!
Can you tell me which reproducible book the basic wheel activity is in?
Thank you.

The basic wheel activity was given to me years and years ago when my oldest was little. I have no idea what book it came from. You can download what I used here though:
