It snowed while we were at church on Sunday. Snow on May 15th! Crazy. Here’s a picture taken at dusk showing the snow on the mountains to the west.
Here’s what they looked like three days ago when the temperatures were in the 80’s.
See how green the fields are starting to get? That little orange dot in the upper left is Mr. Ferrero Rocher hauling gravel.
I finally got my camera back! So of course I had to take pictures of the two youngest enjoying popscicles.
They spend most of their time outside. Hershey is in to picking up and carrying around all types of rocks. Lately she’s been throwing them too. Thankfully just onto the cement or gravel and not at cars or people (yet).
The next older ones have been building villages with rivers in the dirt.
The mud feels good on a hot day!
In other news I have finally updated the links to the flannel board stories. The original zip files were hosted elsewhere and would not download for most people. I am trying out 4shared this time. Let me know if it works for you! Feedback – good or bad – is always helpful. These links can also be found on the Flannel Board Story master list page.

I’ve also created a zip file containing all of the Family Home Evening Lessons. I am working on uploading each individual one. I only have about 10 left. The links for the individual lessons will eventually be updated on each lesson’s post page. The link for all the lessons can be also be found on the FHE Lesson master list page.

Have you noticed the change in the LDS Humanitarian Widget on my sidebar? Did you know you can turn the sound on the video to hear about the clean water project going on in Africa? Just click on the speaker icon at top right.
The content on this new widget will be updated every few weeks. It’s a good way to see all the wonderful ways LDS Philanthropies is helping people all over the world, regardless of religious or political affiliation.
Don’t forget to write a motherhood limerick for this upcoming Wordfull Wednesday!

Pictures of your children are priceless. Loved your thoughts today. Rain, Rain go away come again another day. I can’t believe that we only had warm temperatures for a moment.
It is awesome that you are giving links for the flannel board stories. I am going to send your link to my children; they will love your ideas.
Blessings to you!

super cool! I have big ambitions to have EVERY FLANNEL STORY EVER CREATED for FHE…and I’m failing miserably. LOL! But I hope to download a few after I’m done teaching Joy School this week. 🙂 Thanks for putting such an extensive list in one place! 🙂
