We’ve done this simple activity with our children for years to help them understand how the ten commandments help us “love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Cut out the heading and commandment strips. Take turns choosing a strip and placing it under the correct heading. Does this commandment help me love others or love God?
