Christmas Eve the kids dressed up and acted out the Nativity while Mr. Ferrero Rocher read from Luke 2. We watched a movie and then sent them all to bed. Christmas morning everyone came out at 7am (per tradition) and looked at the goods in their stockings. Then we recited The Living Christ before opening gifts. It was a relaxed and fun Christmas morning with the smell of sticky buns and cinnamon rolls baking in the background thanks to Bon Bon’s efforts the night before.
As you look at the progression of photos you’ll see most are of Ganache. He has wanted a train for so long! 7am was still a little early for him so he just kind of stared at the train until he realized exactly what it was and that it was for him.

Sound like Christmas celebrations at your house were heavenly. I always wanted kids dressed up for the Nativity, but they really hated it. How did you get cooperative participation?

Very observant! I was wondering how long it would take someone to notice. 🙂 Next post will give details.
