Summer is here and there are so many things to do! Swimming, riding bikes, soccer games, etc. One of my kids favorite activities to do is read – no matter what the weather or what’s going on. To capitalize on their love of reading and the bookmobile’s summer reading program that begins next week I thought I’d share some really fun activities and ideas to keep your kids reading this summer.
To kick off this week I created some bookmarks. There are two versions of the bookmarks. One is in black and white so your kids can color them and personalize them to their heart’s content.
The other set is already in color.
Print both off on cardstock for sturdier bookmarks. If you prefer a different style of bookmark try making these corner bookmarks with your kids!
The combinations of papers and graphics is endless. My kids can whip these out is no time and love giving them away as gifts along with a few good books.
