Have you ever received a simple thank you card? It’s kind of amazing the power those words have on you. You feel noticed, loved, and appreciated.
As part of the #LIGHTtheWORLD Christmas initiative, Melissa Esplin, who does wonders with calligraphy, created three simple but beautiful Thank You cards for you and your children to use. A framed thank you is for small kids to make their mark and you help them sign their name. Have a beginning writer? Give them the Thank You card with handwriting lines. Teens and adults can use the greeting card.
To send the cards you can also put together the envelope Melissa created to match.
This year I ordered our Christmas cards at the beginning of November.
Hallelujah is a shout of joy, praise, and gratitude. Not only are we grateful for all God has done for us but we are also thankful for what family and friends have done for us. My intention was to send them out at Thanksgiving time with handwritten thank you cards included, thanking each recipient for the ways they have touched our family.
I still have my stack of Christmas cards, unstuffed and unmailed. Ahem.
Now I’m having my kids help write a thank you card to include with each Christmas card. Maybe we’ll be done by the New Year?
