Fine the April 2018 General Conference Jeopardy here!
Here’s the October 2017 General Conference Jeopardy! I don’t know about you but General Conference seemed to be extra special this past weekend. There were so many wonderful messages of following the Savior’s example to serve and lift, to defend the family, to love all of God’s children, and more. We mourn the passing of Elder Robert D. Hales and are grateful for his last message back in April on becoming disciples of Jesus Christ.
This version includes every single speaker from the four general sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Download the October 2017 General Conference Jeopardy game at the bottom of this post.
GAME INSTRUCTIONS
Each team must have a copy of the scriptures! The Doctrinal Mastery category specifically covers Book of Mormon doctrinal mastery scriptures quoted in General Conference.
Open the game in PowerPoint Viewer. Depending on your version of PowerPoint you will be asked if you want to enable macros. Yes, you do! You might also have to push “play” in the upper right of your screen again depending on your version of PowerPoint.
Click through the first screen to get to the game board. A student picks a category and a dollar amount. You click on that dollar amount and it will take you to the question. Another click will take you to the answer. THEN click on the green triangle at the bottom of the answer slide and it will take you back to the game board. Hopefully the question previously picked will now be dark and only the “unasked” questions will be highlighted. When you finish Round 1 you will click on the Round 2 box and repeat as above. When you finish round 2 you will then click on Final Jeopardy.
You will need to keep score as the powerpoint won’t do that.
Have fun!

THe categories for Double Jeopardy are What Should We Do, What is the Subject, Funny Thing, What Did They Say, and Grab Bag (Miscellaneous)

Is there any chance that you would be willing to give me a word or other text copy of your questions and answers? We want to play this in primary and I know I will need to simplify some of the questions, especially for junior primary. Thanks!
Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} says
I sent you an email!

Thank you for doing this every conference!! I teach the 16 & 17 yr old Sunday school class in my ward and I’ve used some of your questions to supplement my own jeopardy game with them for the past few years. You do such a good job!!

Can you tell me how to reset the game board slide so all questions show highlighted again?
Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} says
I’m pretty sure if you close powerpoint down and close the game then open it back up it should start brand new again. As for doing it while in powerpoint, hmmmm, I don’t know! I might have to figure that out and get back to you.
Jennifer says
So great! Thanks!
