I am slowly working on creating a print for every talk given in General Conference. Why is it taking me so long? Because I am also creating them in Spanish! Here are the October 2017 Women’s Session Quotes. These are great to rpint out and hang up in your home or to print smaller and send in cards to someone who needs a lift.

These are lovely! Thanks! And I love that you put them in Spanish as well. My husband’s family speaks only Spanish (and live far away in another country.) I am not fluent in Spanish, although I can speak some. They love to send motivational quotes in Spanish to me and I try to share some of my thoughts and testimony in Spanish as well…but as I said, I’m not fluent. These beautiful quotes will be so helpful!

I’m not very fluent in Spanish either but I have had so many requests to do Spanish quotes too. Thank goodness it’s easy to change the language on lds.org so I can find the right quotes in each talk! I’ll get the Saturday quotes up sometime this week.

“If we sin we are less worthy but never worth less”
I find this a rather strange quote and am wondering if it is really in agreement with the teaching of the Bible. Do you think it is possible for someone not to sin?
Romans 3 v 10 “there is none righteous no not one”
Romans 3 v 23 ” ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God”
1 John 1 v 8 “If we say we have NO sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us”
However
1 John 1 v 9″ If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”
There is a vast difference between thinking that we can sin less and that God will be pleased with us and actually having had our sins forgiven. For our sins to be forgiven we must be born again and that is a truly radical heart changing transformation and when it happens you are never the same again because the peace, joy and love of God then fills your heart and the fear of judgement is gone forever.
Are you 100% sure that your sins are forgiven and that if you died tonight you would go to be with Jesus in heaven.
“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that YOU MAY KNOW that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13

I think you are too caught up in the word “if”. Would the quote have been better if the word “when” was used? Certainly. The only sinless person to ever live was Jesus Christ. We all fall short. Every single day. I linked to all the talks so hopefully that will help to look at the quotes in context.
